Wood Elf Spellsinger 2
There are four Spellsinger variant miniatures for Warhammer, so I painted them all :). This is the floating male version with horns - I quite wish they were antlers actually, I think if I painted this model again I would convert them that way. As it is he has only the slightest hint of Hern. I decided with all the floating models to paint some of the fabric as a little translucent, because otherwise it looked so heavy that it didn't go with the raised-in-the-air model. I also got a bit tired of green and green and green so threw some other colours into the mix, glazing a deep blue into the shadows and then painting it up to a purply-pink, sort of like the colours visible in some varieties of lilies.
