Wood Elf Lord - Mounted

I converted this model a fair bit, or rather added lots of interesting cosmetic bits without changing the essential pose. He just seemed too boring for a lord. I added some pennant-shaped bits of fabric, and leaves, berries, vines, and a couple of flowers. I also cleverly painted little spirals on the horse, directly under where the lord sits. Sigh. A little tiny bit is still visible on one side.

The goldy stuff is painted using a mix of black and snakebite leather, to which I started adding white earlier than I usually would so the colour is cold rather than yellowy. The oxidised bits are coloured with a mix of what is probably enchanted blue and dark angel green, with white added, or is possibly the apple-green colour left in the pallette after painting some of the fabric with some dark blue and white added. I honestly don't remember... basically you want a greeny blue or a bluey green and a bit of white in it. A couple of lighter shades were added also. The base is pretty simple, just leaf-litter over earth.
