Wood Elf lord with great weapon
Yet another of the new Wood Elves for Warhammer, this is perhaps my favourite model (or a close second to the floating male spellsinger) from the range. I painted him with an autumnal gradient on his cloak, but kept the other areas in the spring pallette. I tried something different while painting his hair, and used subtle streaks in a blonde and a reddish brown, which nicely highlighted the locks and braids. I've stuck with a tarnished bronzey look for his armour, something I think looks really appealling on a Wood Elf.
