Space Marine Veterans

Basically the box set. I painted them pretty much like the box-cover, as Ultramarines, but added a bit more embellishment. Really, all that blank space on the banner was crying out to be filled... There are all manner of nifty bits that come with these models, including some very nice weapons and a selection of shoulderpads to make even regular units a bit funkier. These pics are pushing me to get a new camera and better lighting, as they have robbed the models of most of their subtlety. Also, the champion-type-guy doesn't have a patchy loincloth, it's actually grey-on-white patterning. Looks a bit more obvious in person, it's washing out here.
