Hasslefree Miniatures: Tiriel
Gorgeous model, beautiful pose. I painted the armour to look iridescent, but mucked it up impressively. What it looked like was blue-green-purple armour reflecting flame. Hence the candles :-). They're made from a rolled out cylinder of greenstuff cut into lengths after it cured, with the flames also made from GS. Those were little teeny cylindrical shapes with pointy ends (basically just what you get if you roll a little piece of GS without too much care) - cut in half when semi-cured to form the flames, then superglued and squooshed into place. Voila :-). The NMM gold came out particularly well. I just hope I can remember the recipe as it was an experiment. I know there's some orange involved. The first pic is a bit grainy and needs retaking.
