Converted Inquisitor

This model was done for a competition held across NZ, Australia and Hong Kong (the Australasian region of GW's coverage). He won the first heat (shop level) and then went on to win overall in NZ. The overall winner of the competition was an Australian model, a Coteaz conversion, and I'd link to a pic but I've never seen one online - the best GW could do was an inch-high pic in the White Dwarf. Pretty disappointing after the intial hype the competition was given.

This model is based on a Grey Knight trooper - his torso, legs, the weapon haft and attached glove are all from that model. The arms are plastic marauder arms, the plasma pistol is a chaos one with a tassel from another chaos weapon attached. The robe and detailing are mostly greenstuff (except for the pouch and grenades). The head is a catachan one with the hair and bandanna removed, and a beard added. The scythe is from Maugan Ra's big weapon. The bit that is my personal favourite is actually the wee skull with it's snake - I somehow managed to do teensy teeth and a forked tongue without making a complete mess of the rest of the head.

This is the 'fixed' version of the model - the version that I entered in the competition had some problems with the text (big and clunky), and some of the colouring was quite off, mainly the use of a bright green in some places on the weapons. He's busy but I like him :-).
