Kroot Shaper
This shaper was commissioned following an ebay auction (both Kroot are shown in the 3rd pic). The use of orange skin and vaguely native american coloured beading was the client's idea, and I think it looks pretty cool. This shaper shows a better use of nmm than the first one, where I was still trying to figure out what to do on large surfaces. I've been told the colouring is too blue, but to be perfectly honest that's what I like about these models, and what I think makes them look quite distinctive. The colour was achieved by glazing in purple and blue inks once the initial gradient was laid down in blue-greys. If I did this again I think I'd use a different colour for the leather cloak, as it doesn't quite work with that particular orange.
