Ogre Kingdoms Bulls

A unit of 6 bulls. The box set is absolutely excellent, with a huge quantity of spare bitz and a great selection of stuff. I really like these models - they fit together well, although the wee plates can be a bit fiddly to get on their feet. The blood was painted using Vallejo Black Red as a base - it was stippled onto the right arm and around the bloody handprints to look smeary and messy. I liked the thought that they just plunge their arm deep into a vat of blood and aren't too tidy about it. Highlighting was done with Gory Red (vallejo game colour) and a little bit of GW blood red at the end. The shine was achieved with a mix of flesh ink, gloss varnish and matte varnish to bring down the shine a bit.
