Bretonnian Standard Bearer

Far, far too much detail on this model (and probably too many pics - 9), but it was something I wanted to try. It was certainly an experience :-). I love the way the banner looks, it almost has a stained-glass feel to it, but my favourite bit is a little more obscure. I'm particularly partial to the way his standard-holding arm looks in the 2nd from bottom pic - it looks freakily like actual metal, when it's just the wobbliness of the white layer that does it. So, something that I though might look off is actually one of the best looking bits... isn't it always the way?
