Bretonnian Sorceress
This is the 5th ed model, but I still think it's considerably better than the new versions, particularly the damsel on foot. In that model it seems that complexity overtook finesse, whereas this model is simple (although still with detail) and has wonderfully fluid lines. She remains one of my favourite models.
I've painted her as a goldy-redhead, in a dress that fades from light to dark blue. The gold was painted with Vallejo Model Colour Bronzed Flesh as the main colour - mixed with Flat Brown, GW Dark Flesh and a little GW Vermin Brown for a dark base, and with white added for the highlights. Her skin is a simple combination - GW Tanned Flesh with a little VMC Azure added, highlighted with GW Bleached Bone for the first couple of highlights and then white. At about the 2nd highlight it blended pretty well with the skin on my thumb (I sometimes swipe excess paint onto my thumbnail rather than go all those extra inches to the paper towel :) ).
