Bretonnian Knights

The box set of Knights all painted up in different ways. The transfers were a complete dog to work with until I tried using (ahem) the technique GW suggest in the book... They're much thinner and so more delicate than most other recent transfers, particularly the thick and clunky Space Marine decals that *never* curve round a shoulder pad properly without slicing, trimming, and far too much use of chemical solutions to soften the thing. So a couple needed repainting, which was ok because I went through and highlighted or shaded them all anyway. The two designs I think failed a bit are the white transfer on the red+yellow background (should have used a black one, it blends in a bit) and the fleur-de-lys on the chequered blue background - something blockier would have worked there. My favourite colour schemes are actually on two of the schmoe-regular guys, the black+white and the red+black look pretty darned cool.
